Banister Insert Panels, Conisbrough

We fabricated custom insert panels to fit an existing oak banister for a residential staircase project.

The client wanted to add modern steel infill without replacing the beautiful oak handrail. Using mild steel, we precisely measured and cut the panels to slot perfectly between the existing posts and under the oak bannister.

The panels were then powder coated in RAL 9005 (deep black) fine texture finish. This durable, subtle textured coating provides a premium matte look, excellent corrosion resistance, and a non-reflective surface that complements the warm oak tones.

The result is a seamless, high-quality upgrade – strong, safe, and visually balanced. The client was delighted with the perfect fit and professional finish that enhanced their staircase without any disruption to the original timber feature.
